On February 15-16th 2020, the Center for Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA) held the 12th meeting of the Council for Educational Quality Accreditation to review the results of the educational quality assessment for higher education institutions and programs which were externally assessed by VNU-CEA.
The delegations joined the event including: Dr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency, MOET; Board of Directors of VNU-CEA; members of the Council for Educational Quality Accreditation; representatives of external assessment team and representatives of higher educational institutions.

At the meeting, the Council for Educational Quality Accreditation reviewed the quality of education for 02 educational institutions (Vietnam Diplomatic Academy and Hanoi University of Home Affairs) and 38 programs of: Hanoi University (03), Vietnam National University of Forestry (03), Thuyloi University (04), Hue University of Education (03), Thu Dau Mot University (04), Dong Nai Technology University (02), Hung Vuong University (03), Foreign Trade University (04), Tay Do University (04), Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment (03), Thuongmai University (05).
Overview of the opening and working session of the Council
After listening the report from universities and summary report on the results of external assessment, report on review results of Specialized subcommittee, the Council discussed issues and made recommendations on how to overcome the shortcomings and to continue improving the quality of education. After discussing, the Council took a secret ballot to pass the resolution on the review of the assessment results of the educational quality for the 02 educational institutions and 38 programs.

After the meeting, the VNU-CEA will continue to implement the quality assessment procedures for these higher education institutions and programs as prescribed.
