On June 10th, 2017, the Center for Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University (VNU-CEA) and Hanoi National University of Education collaborated to organize the opening ceremony of the Actual Site Visit at Hanoi National University of Education, according to the quality assessment standards at institutional level set by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).
Attending the opening ceremony, the VNU-CEA were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quy Thanh, Director. On the side of the Assessment team were Prof. Dr. Tran Trung – Permanent member; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoa, Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Hung; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Thanh, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duy Cam and MA. Bui Thi Thu Thuy was the Supervisor.
On the side of Hanoi National University of Education, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh - Rector, members of the Board of Managements and leaders of departments and units and representatives of faculty, staff, students of the university.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quy Thanh said Hanoi National University of Education was the 27th university to be evaluated and is the eighth in the system of university with pedagogical training that the CEA-VNU has evaluated. He also reiterated the importance of external assessment; the main purpose of quality accreditation is to ensure standards in training and to continuously improve the quality of training, to meet the requirements of employers and to ensure the benefits for learner.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, Rector of Hanoi National University of Educationalso thanked the Assessment team and VNU-CEA. He pledged that the university will create the most favorable conditions for the Assessemnet Team and VNU-CEA successfully fulfill its mission in the Actual site visit.
During the 5 days of actual site visit, the team will do additional desktop assessment, carry out group discussions and interviews, examine and collect feedbacks from relevant stakeholders, observe teaching and learning activities, and assess facilities on campus to verify the information of the universirty’sself-assessment report (SAR). Based on the destop assessment and actual site visit, the assessment team will makenecessary recommendations for the university to improve and enhance its education quality.
The site assessment at Hanoi National University of Education will take place from June 10th to June 14th, 2017.
