Vietnam National University, Hanoi – Center for Education Accreditation promotes cooperation with the University of Waikato, New Zealand

From August 7th to 8th, 2017, The Leadership Board of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi – Center for Education Accreditation (VNU-CEA) includes Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quy Thanh - Director and Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice-Director visited and worked at the University of Waikato (New Zealand) to learn about internal quality assurance system (IQA), activities of education quality accreditation (EQA) of New Zealand and the opportunities for cooperation between the VNU-CEA and the University of Waikato.

Welcoming the delegation to the University of Waikato was Prof. Neil Quigley – Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Alister Jones – Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Ms. Sharon Calvert - Head of International Cooperation and Mr. Mulan - Senior Regional Manager of East Asia.

At the meeting, the Leadership Board of the VNU-CEA and the Univeristy exchanged and shared experiences in organizing activities to quality assurance of education, methods of evaluation and quality control of the university and the VNU-CEA and intentions for future cooperation in related fields.

End of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quy Thanh - Director of the VNU-CEA and Prof. Neil Quigley - Vice-Chancellor of the University of Waikato signed a memorandum of understanding between the two sides in the field of training, scientific research and activities of education accreditation.
