The AUN-QA Secretariat saw the Decision made by the MOET as an excellent
opportunity to arrange an official meeting with five stakeholder
organisations and four Quality Assurance (QA) partnered universities in
Viet Nam to discuss the prospects of QA direction and to share recent
updates on QA development in the ASEAN region. Ultimately, the AUN-QA
Team departed to Viet Nam on a mission to arrange the aforementioned
meeting during 17 - 22 July 2022, and was met with tremendous success
and positive reception from all the participating stakeholders and
partnered universities.

The mission of the official meetings was not only to explore the ongoing
QA tendencies of the QA member universities in Vietnam but also to
initiate further collaborative partnerships between AUN-QA and the
stakeholder organisations. Accordingly, the AUN-QA team had the honour
and opportunity to meet with the Deputy Minister, Rectors, Chancellors,
and Directors of participating stakeholder organisations and partnered
universities, and engaged in fruitful discussions on the QA trends and
accreditation system, with a particular focus on how to further
collaborate on the assessment process and quality assurance in Viet Nam.
