The Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National
University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA) had the pleasure to participate in the Preparatory
Training for the Reviews of External Quality Assurance Agencies in ASEAN which
held on 7-9 July 2021 by the ASEAN Quality Assurance Network (AQAN) and The
project “European Union Support to Higher Education in ASEAN Region (EU-SHARE).

The overall goal of agency review scheme is to enable EQAAs
in countries with consolidated EQA structures to benchmark their QA systems
with AQAF’s regional principles and in view of international good practice. The
reviews are of a developmental nature. The EQAAs will benefit from the input of
the international review panel composed of ASEAN and European Quality Assurance
experts. The training will allow the agencies to become acquainted with
content, format, and methodology of the whole review process. It furthermore
enhances the capacity of EQAAs in operationalising the principles and
respective statements as laid down in the AQAF.
Since becoming an associate member of AQAN in
2016, the VNU-CEA has always actively participated in activities and
contributed to the development of the ASEAN Quality Assurance Network (AQAN).
Participating in this training is one of the practical activities for VNU-CEA
to self-assess and improve quality to become a prestigious QAA in the region,
meeting the standards of the international educational QAA. |
