| Within the framework of a
series of activities towards the 10th anniversary of the VNU-CEA establishment,
on 11 February 2023, the Education Accreditation Council of VNU - CEA held a
seminar on “Improving and enhancing the quality of educational accreditation
activities in a new context” in the form of face-to-face combined with online which
be chaired by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dinh Van Toan - VNU-CEA Vice Director, President
of the Education Accreditation Council.  Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dinh Van Toan - President of the
Education Accreditation Council chaired the Seminar Speaking at the opening of
the seminar, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Director of the Center, mentioned a number of
issues being raised in educational accreditation activities in the higher
education system of Vietnam. Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien – Director of VNU-CEA, made the speech at the
opening of the Seminar During the seminar, all the
delegates listened to 02 important reports of Prof.Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan and
Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quy Thanh, exchanged and discussed current issues related to
inspectators. Delegates exchanged and discussed topical issues related to accreditors
such as: professional mission, attitude and capacity, knowledge of the accreditors,
training and retraining, key issues that accreditors need to pay attention to
when participating in educational quality assessment and accreditation
activities. Also in the discussion, the delegates mentioned the independence
and accountability of the educational accreditation organization, the financial
and administrative procedures that are bound in the educational accreditation
activities as well as the policy advice for the education accreditation system.

of the participants of the Seminar contributed to a general picture of the
current practice of educational accreditation and added many suggestions and
